Tuesday, March 5, 7 p.m. Jason will read his some of his poems at the Shoreline Cluster Poets' open mic. night. Scranton Library, Madison, CT. 7 p.m.

Thursday, April 11, 6:30 p.m. To celebrate National Poetry Month Jason will share the stage with two other local poets. He will read and discuss the origin of selected poems from his published collection, ODE ON A MARTIAN URN. Hagaman Memorial Library, East Haven, CT, 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, April 20, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jason will appear at Hamden Earth Day with his display Native Americans: America's First Green Peoples. Attendees will receive a coupon card to purchase a copy of THE LEGEND OF HOBBOMOCK at a special discount rate. Each copy of the book sold via this coupon will benefit Hamden Earth Day's fundraising needs. $5 from each copy sold will be donated to Hamden Earth Day. Hamden Middle School, 2623 Dixwell Avenue, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  Saturday, May 18.  Jason will present a fascinating display of THE LEGEND OF HOBBOMOCK art work and sell/sign books at the Shoreline Spring Festival on the Madison Green, Madison, CT.

Saturday, September 14.  Jason and Jesse will appear at the 2nd annual Branford Reads Festival to sign and sell THE LEGEND OF HOBBOMOCK and to present a discussion of the book. Branford Town Green, Branford, CT.

Saturday & Sunday, October 5 & 6.  Jason and Jesse appear for the second year in a row at the Hammonasset Jamboree Native American festivities weekend. This is a premiere event on the Connecticut Shoreline, with dozens of Native American related events, displays, and activities scheduled. A fun family day at Hammonasset State Park.

PAST EVENTS 2011 and 2012:

Friday, October 26. Jason will be video taped reading The Legend of Hobbomock and talk about Native American mythology and giant legends in history and literature. Wallingford Community TV. 5 p.m. This taped program is scheduled to run on Wallingford Community Television for the entire month of November.


Saturday, November 3. Holiday Book Drive Kick-Off. Money from book sales donated to Smilow Cancer Benefit, Barnes & Noble store, North Haven, CT, 1 pm to 5 pm. See the Barnes & Noble press release HERE.


Saturday, November 10. Celebrate Our Veterans. Money from book sales donated to Veterans Affairs, Mohegan Sun Casino, 11 am to 5 pm.

Sunday, November 25. Book signing at the Sundial Gardens & Tea Shop, Hidden Lake Road, Higganum, CT from 12 noon to 5 pm.
